Terms of Service
Last updated: 15 June 2026
By using Coatables (the "Service"), operated by Metawear s.r.o., you agree to these terms. Read the verification disclaimer carefully — it defines what the Service is and isn't.
1. What the Service does
Coatables extracts data from a Certificate of Analysis (CoA) PDF and runs a deterministic verification layer that normalizes limits and units, recomputes pass/fail, and cross-checks it against the lab's printed verdict. Output is JSON and Excel.
2. Verification is for review, not release sign-off
Coatables is an assistant, not a certifying authority. The computed verdict and any flags are provided to support human QA review. They are not a release decision, a regulatory certification, or a substitute for your own quality process. A qualified reviewer must remain in the loop, especially on flagged rows. You are solely responsible for any batch-release or compliance decision.
3. Accuracy & scope
- The Service targets a bounded set of common third-party supplement lab reports (heavy metals, microbiology, contaminants). It is not a general "any document" extractor.
- We do not warrant 100% accuracy. Scanned or low-quality documents are inherently less certain; low-confidence fields are flagged for you to check.
- The Service is provided "as is", without warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, to the extent permitted by law.
4. Credits, payment & refunds
- Access is sold as pay-per-use credit packs via Polar, our Merchant of Record. Credits do not expire.
- A credit is consumed only on a successful, non-empty verification — an unrecognized file that returns no analytes is not charged.
- Money-back if a verification is wrong: if Coatables returns an incorrect verified result, contact us and we'll refund the credit(s) for that document.
5. Acceptable use
Use the Service only for lawful purposes and for documents you are authorized to process. Don't attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or abuse the Service or its rate limits.
6. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Metawear s.r.o. is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for decisions made on the basis of the Service's output. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the credits used on the document in question.
7. Changes & contact
We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected by the date above. Governing law: Czech Republic. Questions: info@metawear.cz.
